Error message? Need a hand.

A red banner opens frequently (Win 10):
“An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your internet connection.”
Connectivity is hard-wired & solid. No similar problems in Chrome but I'd rather use Opera.
Any ideas?

Uncheck 'automatically detect settings' in W10 Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings - this helped some users to solve connection issues after computer wakeup.
