Opera 21 is too problematic with my computer

  • ever since my computer has upgraded to Opera 21, i notice on the task manager that the memory and private memory for some tabs of the browser are higher then the actual browser process and it really high on a GIF heavy website and not to mention, issue i'm having with some pages going completely white while trying to scroll down on the page. it happened to me a lot in Chrome after they rolled out 34.0 hence why i'm using Opera now.

could it be relate to my computer itself.

    my computer info:
Computer Brand and Model: eMachines T3120
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 32 Bit
Computer Processor: AMD Sempron Processor 3100+ 1.80 GHz
Hard Drive Size: All: 88.7 GB
Hard Drive Space Amount Free: 50.4 GB
Hard Drive Space Used on Computer: 38.2 GB
Memory (RAM) of Computer: 1.50 GB
    Graphic/Video Card: nVIDIA GeForce 6100
    Computer Monitor Brand: Acer X163WL
Computer Display Settings: 1360 by 769 Pixels resolution with colors at highest (32 Bit)
    Opera version: 21.0.1432.57
    Computer's Virus protection: AVG Anti-Virus 2014 (2014.0.4577) Free Edition

anyway, i want to know, is it my computer, or is it the browser itself.

is my computer too old and slow from the recommend memory usage and or the recommend processor/graphics card/RAM memory need to run this normally with out issues.

what is the minimum requirements of Opera 21 for Windows

  • Sounds to me that computer is barely able to run Vista let alone any browser, you can speed that computer up a little by going into Msconfig, and shutting off everything except the Firewall and the Antivirus, Install Ccleaner and run it and then do a defrag and then reboot
