No Favorits No History no NOTHING in search box. PLEASE

Are the settings in Preferences > Browser > Start page any help? You can uncheck "Show Speed Dial suggestions".

Already unchecked!!!
As soon as I put in ONE letter in the address bar suggestions comes up.
Very annoying! -

Exactly!. If you had a choise to avoid history and bookmarks in the address bar I would love it.
The predictions never helps. If I want to use boomarks and history I can do so in a normal way. -

Oh that's right.
There's some flags you could try at launch, like,
-omnibox-popup-count=1
