New to Opera

I am running antiX 13.2 and decided to make Opera my default browser. So could anyone point me toward a simple to do list for Opera please. Things like putting Opera on my desktop for example.

Not familiar with antiX, usually the installer will put Opera on your menu. If you have to do it yourself, make sure you point your shortcut at the startup script and not the opera binary, as the script has to set up some environment variables for the program.
