wss not working with Data Saving - Automatic

Our site runs over https://. It has the constant data feed being retrieved over wss://. It looks, that wss is not possible with default Operamini Data Saving setting - Automatic. If user disables Data Saving, then everything work fine.
As we anticipate average user not to bother playing around with any settings and just expect site to work, we need a workaround.
Please help. -
