Sync Bookmarks Disappear If I Sign Out

I have a Kindle Fire HD8, Opera 44 installed perfectly. Signed in with my laptop, and signed in with my tablet, all bookmarks synced. However if I sign out from either of my devices, my bookmarks and speed dials disappear. I have done this before and did not have this problem did not occur. Help.
Another issue is that I have many speed dial icons, when the speed dial syncs over, the speed dial page is not the default page, I have to tap the little computer icon which then takes me to "Other Speed Dials" which have what I want as the default speed dial page, so when I open Opera this is the opening page. Help again.
