can't uninstall opera 49

i installed opera 50, so naturally, I went to uninstall 49 through the control panel. I found the program, clicked it, and clicked "uninstall," but nothing happened. it didn't freeze, it didn't show the "working" animation on the cursor, it just did nothing, as if I hadn't clicked it. I clicked it multiple times. nothing. restarted the computer, nothing. is there some special secret uninstallation method I'm not aware of? T_T

The new version should rewrite the older one and just appear the latest one.

Do you have 50 and 49 as installed?

You should try to back up your profile first

OMenu > About Opera
| Follow the profile Path with the Explorer and make a copy.

then try with iObit Uninstaller - from Portableapps.com - and clean any O49 trace.

@reitanna if ya installed opera 50 in same directory as opera 49..
Windows uninstaller gets confused..lol
do what zalex108 suggested..
but if ya didn't install 50 over 49 then thats a problem with windows *perhaps.. just saying..
