I really don't like this decision to remove "+ add bookmark" in both bar and folders. I don't care about drag&drop or right click menu options. It is good to have more possibilities and users should decide which one they'll use.

Please bring this one back in next release

@bbildman Guys i can understand adding new stuff but why remove the old one ? And then you need to go to a forum to find out how? Everyone is trying to copy Apple who are doing what they want without asking !!!! Plain stupid if you ask me!!!!

You just have to "Right click".
Also, "+" button gave some problems, don't know if it's related.

Yes I know, but I prefer to have few solutions, and choose between those

                    You are right.

Developers of the Opera, add this button back! This button is convenient and very useful. Damn!

Now I do not know how to add a bookmark. And in Opera 49 it was so simple.

First off, you should know I have many folder tabs on my Bookmark Bar, I placed the folders I use the most right on the BMBar, so when I click them I get a drop down box that includes all the BMs within that folder.

SO when I want to BM a page, I will grab the tab of the page I want to BM and hover it over one of the folders (on the BMBar), this then will open that folder drop down box, and I can then plave the new BM anywhere in that folder.

See this thread which has a description of what I have down, with pictures::

Very good idea! Looks easy and comfortable.

Since OBlink lacks of a scroll bar or an advanced Bookmarks add menu as O12, this is the most practical way.

I have just registered (forcefully?) to say how bad this decision is. What was the reasoning to make such and easy function, such a burden? Please, readd or I will change your browser for good and will not recommend it in the future to anyone

                            I've had a mistake,
OBlink has a Scrollbar on the adding bookmarks mini window, but lacks about a Search box for folders or a Keyboard navigation.

I'm glad they finally ditched the stupid + buttons. I never used them and they were annoying as hell for me.

You are stupid. Now adding a bookmark to the bar is uncomfortable. Button + did not bother anyone but for many people it is a necessary tool to quickly add bookmarks to the bar. I installed version 49, I won't be using version 50, until this button returns.

I hope you've already realized there is a heart button in URL bar for that task. Instead of 40 plus buttons all over the bookmarks you have it there. I'm a bookmarks hoarder and that works perfectly. There is no way you're saving so many bookmarks that you need those plus buttons all over the place...

Look at the fact that after adding a new bookmark by clicking on the heart on the right side of Opera, the new bookmark is added to the first position of the bar and not at the very end. When the + bookmark button was pressed, it was automatically sorted and added at the very end of the list of bookmarks added. I already have bookmarks added at the Opera, so why the new bookmark automatically isn't being sorted and isn't being shown at the end? The heart function is crappy.

@ext That's just how Opera sorts things. It always places new things on top. Where for example, Firefox always places them at the end. Coming from Firefox, it was annoying at first, but now I like it more actually.

Why opera developers change something that was functional and good. I hope that the + button will return to Opera. Developers of the Opera can create the extension which will let for adding this button to the bar.

@ext No, extension for this is the bad way of doing it. Chrome has extensions for every damn tweak and it's such a waste of resources. A Flag or a normal setting would be more appropriate.

i only use the heart to bookmark and i find it to be convenient. you click the heart, rename it if you want to, choose the folder you wanna put it in in the drop down menu, and that's it.

You think you know, but you have no idea.
