Exported Bookmarks doesnt keep thumbnail pictures?
Ok, what I did, was probably stupid, but I did it aready, so...
Here is my problem... I decided to export all my bookmarks into html, as a backup. After that, I deleted all my bookmarks from Opera. But few days later (and after reinstalling Opera - AppData files deleted), I was in need of my bookmarks again, so I imported back my Bookmarks.html file, but it didnt keep any thumbnail pictures.
So, I was wondering... is this really supposed to work like this? Exporting without thumbnails? Isnt this just a bug, and maybe, if I was using older version of Opera, it could work? I really would like to save these thumbnails if possible. It seems, like that html file is indeed storing some icon paths... I opened it in text editor, and every bookmark does seem to have some associated icon, like this:
So, how does it work exactly? Is there still any way to restore my thumbnails?
Ok, I just tested Opera 47 and it doesnt work... my bookmarks didnt even imported properly...
I will probably give up soon, cause there doesnt seem to be any solution (Recuva also didnt help), but now Im looking at https://sync.opera.com/web/ and I have there synced 12 devices, so...
Would it be somehow possible to synchronize my bookmarks to the state from older device and with this, restore also thumbnails? Do they store separate bookmarks for diferent devices? Does Sync even store thumbnails?
