Automatically refresh webpage continuously

I have a problem with my Opera, it automatically refresh some webpages continuously. Gmail is the best example.
Another problem is that some webpages does not refresh continuously, but when I navigate to another tab, it gets refresh once automatically which I do not need that to happen.
