CPU & upload speed used at its highest limit, problem with websites

- A few days ago I noticed that my PC started somehow 'freezing' when I open Opera. So, I checked Task Manager and saw that Opera was overusing CPU and the upload speed was at its highest limit. There is no other opened tab, just the Start Page.
After digging around, I found out that the issue was caused by Messenger sidebar app and there is a connection to edge-star-shv-01-amt2.facebook.com (31.13.64.16). I removed Messenger from sidebar and everything went back to normal. But it still happens whenever I open Facebook.- Another problem is with Mixcloud. The whole site is shown wrong and is nearly impossible to navigate or use the site.
Please, consider these problems and fix it. I really want Opera browser behave normally.

Even stable is quite the a rescource hog - albeit still faster than Chrome/FF/Edge.
It's a good thing that they are yet again (Chromium) introducing new RAM weight loss methods.
