Using the screen grabber

On a previous beta, I posted on the developer's blog how cumbersome I find the screen grabber, vs. say Windows Snipping tool, unless what I want is very close to the default box position and the latter doesn't need much adjustment. Someone answered that it works more like I want if I "tried defining an area (outside that box) yourself." What does that mean (entail)? Thanks,

@genegold Drag an area as you would with the snipping tool, it's not obligatory to move the edges of the predefined box. Don't try to put your mouse in the predefined box and try to drag from there as it won't work.
