arucardo last edited byIn 48.0.2685.35 the option to show a real menu bar instead of that annoying start menu type menu seems to have gone AWOL, is there any way to get it back?

arucardo last edited byThe last update before this one that I did a month or so ago (I think anyway) had the option and it was chromium based.

A Former User last edited byAre you sure about that? I have been using opera on linux since 43 was on the developer channel and I have never seen what you say. Maybe you saw it on vivaldi... A pic of that "menu bar" would help though.

A Former User last edited byThis is too frustrating to deal with. I installed the latest Opera for Windows. I would provide the exact version but I can't seem to FIND IT!! The typical place is under HELP|ABOUT or SETTINGS somewhere.
The prolem is: I inadvertently disable the main menubar and can't get it back. Right-click context menu doesn't show the "Show menu bar". The forums say go to the main menu|settings|views|preference........ there is no main menu.. that's what i'm trying to get back. After more than an hour to do a very simple thing.. i gave up and reset the browser settings. It reset my other preferences EXCEPT show menu bar.. Wow.. wasted way too much time. Uninstalled Opera. I'll try again next
