I was going different websites on opera mini in my phone and found that some websites like Amazon, Flipkart are displayed differently in the browser. Specially the javascript functionalities like Side menu animation or search functionality loads on the client side (or atleast it seems). And some websites do not support this. What can this be related to and if I want to to implement this on my website, how do i do it?

If you are on 'extreme mode' this may be something expected to happen.

Yep, some but not all. Pages that relies too much on javascript have high changes of not working well due to the way extreme mode works.

But the sites i am referring to uses javascript heavily, In fact flipkart's website is made in ReactJS.

I learned from somewhere on internet opera has a configuration that allows them to select which website to load in what mode. Is this true?

As far as I know, yes. Sites that are known to not work well on extreme mode will be loaded using high mode.
