Opera ignores GTK themes on Gnome

Hi

No matter what GTK theme I use on Gnome, Opera always has the same appearance.
Stable, beta and developer builds are affected.
Any solution?

Opera forces the use of its own gtk theme in order to avoid this problem here

And there is no workaround to it.

Well... as it looks like, after a year, noone has done a thing. Just tried Elementary OS and the problem remains. Geez... to be honest, this is the last flaw I was expecting...
