Update problem

I downloaded the latest deb file on ubuntu 17.04
I installed it but it didn't update opera and I still get the message telling me to get the latest security update why isn't it in the opera repository like usual?
the same happened on windows 10 btw

Downloaded from where? What version did you get? And, where are you seeing this message?

Doesn't tell me what you have, though. I was trying to determine if the message was correct.
