just updated Opera on my gentoo system to 12:16, and i have lost all my bookmarks wallpaper etc. I also no longer have a VPN or any addons like uBlock origin, and the Blocker installed with Opera isnt blocking much.

My Fan seems to be running a lot faster that it ever has, it takes longer to load pages, and click to backpage sometimes takes 3 goes,
Videos aren't playing right or at all,

I wish i had never done an upgrade ...the last version worked great apart from Gifs

12.16? From what? The official current version is 46, but isn't related to the 12.xx versions.
