[Solved]Opera sync reset

  • How long does it usually take? Every-time I try signing in via the tool-bar window in the upper right, it says something went wrong and to try signing in again.

    When I go to sync.opera.com/web/ it just says "Your sync data is being deleted from the server.
    You will soon be able to sign in and sync your browsers again." and this has been going on for maybe 30mins+ .

    After posting this I went to check on it and it said: "An error occurred. Please try again later."

    A different browser as in Chrome, Firefox etc? No, I don't use any other browser.

    I tried it again after closing the browser and still-after a while-said "An error occurred. Please try again later."
    I'm going to try un-installing the browser and re-installing to see if it is something with my account.

    Maybe you can try using a private window to check it.

  • Ok, well, I did as I said and it seems it all worked. I was able to set a new passphrase with no troubles.
