Problem with Java Plugin

Hi,

I'm trying to install the Java plugin on latest version of Opera.
As operating system I have Ubuntu 16 with install java:

java -version
java version "1.8.0_121"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode)

but Opera does not see the plugin. I have also followed the guide:

http://www.opera.com/docs/linux/plugins/install/#java

but nothing !!!
what can I do ?

Support for Java and other Npapi plugins has stopped a while ago.

Java plugin itself will cease to exist soon.

The EMC console for managing storage requires the Java plugin, I start to have problems since I use Ubuntu !!!
