I'm using the "Bookmarks Manager" for Opera and can make new folders, but haven't figured out how to name one yet. Any ideas?

I have bookmarks manager in my Chrome browser. There I go to Bookmarks Manager. I have a folder display with the Bookmarks bar on the left side running vertical, and when I click on a folder, on the right side are the items I have in the folder in a vertical display. Now when I right click on one of the folders in the Bookmarks bar on the left, I get an option "Rename."

Now some of the Chrome extensions in Opera are the same as the one by the same name as in Chrome. Still, I'm thinking if you haven't figured that out, it must somehow be different, which is puzzling, as "renaming" is pretty basic. (Of course, you could try the Chrome version of Bookmarks manager. (I'm still thinking you must be missing something in your Opera version). Also, in the Chrome version of Tidy Bookmarks, which I'm using, you do have also the rename function, similar to what I have described for the Chrome bookmarks manager manager.

Thanks. I just figured it out. When I press the bookmark icon in the upper right left hand corner I get a drop down of all my bookmarks. Then, I press the "Manage and Import" option. If I double click any item, I can now edit the name.

It's clunky, but effective. I really wish there was a way to move subfolders around. Now they seem to be place at the end of the folder.

If It is a limited amount of work you have in mind, pull the subfolders out of the folder and onto the bookmark bar until the folder is empty, and then put them back in, in the order you want.

For big folders, this is a nuisance, but for small cleanup work, it's an idea.

In TIdy Bookmarks for Chrome, the folders can come out alphabetically on the personal bookmarks bar, and items within the folder do also, but not subfolders. Those, one would have to play with if it's important -- along the lines of what I suggest.
