Opera Mini + Opera Max?

Hello,
I am wondering if there is any point in using Opera Mini while Opera Max is running. Both offer data compression, so won't this be redundant? Should I just use regular Opera without data compression enabled?

all i got is sometimes web connection failed. means that i can't get connected to site that i want to go to. e.g m.facebookdot com. if i turn off Max, the issue is fixed.

but it works nicely if you browse with Firefox or Chrome.
So perhaps the solution is to use Opera for Android instead of Opera Mini and turn off data compression when Opera Max is enabled? Is that what Opera users who try to save some data do on Android?

Opera Mini traffic should be ignored by Opera Max. Do you have problems on any other sites than m.facebook.com? Can you post a screenshot of the error you see?

Opera Mini still saves a hell of a lot more than Opera + Max
Thanks, I think this is the answer I have been looking for. So it is Opera Mini + Max for me, then.

Yes and no. The savings amount could be up to x6 times for heavy pages (loading images with large placeholders) and for media sky is the limit with Opera Max. Overall the performance looks the same for me.

Well, using FF browser I was able to play media (hi res) files on another location than that browser. Reported savings got out of charts like in x20 using my old Nexus S.
