I have the same problem (the error code is ms-windows-store, though). I made a post about it but got directed here. Here is my original post:
When opening a link to the Windows App Store the browser gives me an error instead of opening up the Store app. The error reads:
Unknown protocol Opera was unable to open the link since no application associated with "ms-windows-store:" protocol was found on your system.
This is only a problem when using Opera (stable, beta and developer). Chrome, Firefox and Edge all work as intended.

It seems to be fixed on developer stream so let's wait till the next week's update of Stable.
