Happens to me, too. Same Opera version. The browser crashes anytime I attempt to "open" (download) a PDF file. Tried on multiple different sites and files.

I have been getting this as well. I found I have to do a right click on the link to save it first. Then I can open the file from the downloads list.

Just had this problem again. Is there anyone maintaining this software? It is quite disruptive to have a browser session suddenly terminated with all the other tabs as well.

Just had this again but with a .ashx file. I guess this is actually a pdf file. (https://www.lifewire.com/ashx-file-2619693).

Faced this problem almost every day, it's awful trouble. Anybody knows how to set preffered applications for MIME file types? I suppose it would fix the problem, but I couldn't find any MIME settings in Opera
