FB Purity keeps disappearing

FB Purity keeps disappearing from Opera. Sometimes I find it disabled; I re-enable it and then it works. Right now it shows to be enabled but isn't working. It's been happening for a while, it isn't version-specific. I didn't see anything about this in the FBP FAQs; I wrote to the author and didn't hear anything back. I also did a search of this forum for both fb purity and fbpurity with no results.
Anybody have any clues about this?

in google chrome, if you install an extension from outside the chrome webstore, google chrome will disable it each time you start the browser. perhaps its the same in opera?
