Every time I open Opera it opens the start page and the I get redirected to the website http://everyoneneedsagoodadvice.blogspot.ro/ . The weird thing is that this happens only the first time I open Opera in a session, so for example, if I would close Opera now and open it again, I wouldn't get redirected to that website. Also, 2 times that website was opened randomly by my Opera while I was browsing.

In settings, at "On Start-up", I have "Open the start page" checked.

I have Kaspersky installed and Malwarebytes and I scanned my computer with both of them, so I don't think it's because of a virus.

I have the latest version of Opera (42.0.2393.94) on Windows 7 32-bit. I have 3 extensions installed: Facebook Redirect Fixer, Website Blocker, Webpage Screenshot Free (this one is disabled most of the time).

Please help me solve this issue.

Try ADWCleaner - this may find more browser-specific problems than others. Check Opera launcher shortcut properties - sometimes foreign pages are attached to command line.

Thank you for your suggestions. I scanned my computer with ADWCleaner but it didn't fixed the problem, I also checked the shortcut properties and everything seemed to be fine.

I disabled all my plug-ins and now the problem is fixed, so the problem was caused either by Facebook Redirect fixer plug-in or by Website Blocker plug-in. None of those plug-ins should have caused this. Are plug-in developers even allowed to do this kind of shady stuff? Can I report it somewhere?

I have the same issue; I think the problem is caused by Website Blocker plug-in. Once I removed it, the problem was solved.
