Built-in Media Player Problems

  • Since Opera Mini beta 21
I can't able to play any downloaded videos using other media player such (MX Player) while I try to open the video from Opera Mini's file downloading list. All that Opera Mini plays it by its poor media player. After playing using Opera Mini's crappy media player then I saw all those videos wasn't matched as my screen. I saw a sharp zoom view. So, if there has "Fit to Screen" option then I can play those videos as videos fitted my screen. Moreover, in extreme saving mode there has no 'Video Boost' option. Since I use always extreme mode it consumes more internet data while I streaming. Please, take a view all of those problems & consider to add more options & features to Opera Mini's built in media player.

I've some suggestions for video streaming feature :-

    1. Add "Fit to Screen" option so that we can able to play videos as our screen size.
    2. Add "Video/Audio Rewind system by swiping forward & backward on anywhere on the screen"
    3. Add "Resume" feature so that we can able to resume any video if network connection is broken anyhow.
    4. Add a feature that can show the video loading percentage so that we can able to guess how much time to need to load a video/ if there has video buffering problem then we can know how much time to need to load the video.
    5. Add "Video Boost" option for Extreme saving mode.
    6. Add an option that can play any video by sharing to other media player while Opera Mini plays any audio/video from web.
    7. Bring back the previous system so that we can able to play downloaded video from the download manager's list using other media player. Because currently by default those downloaded videos plays using Opera Mini's poor media player.

i've disabled youtube and use tubemate (and sometimes newpipe) together with the vlc player; quite content with opera mini staying a slim and lightweight web viewer/pseudo-browserini.
