Checking my hz at different browsers i found that Opera is the only one capped at 60 hz in my case. My monitor run 75hz at 1920x1080, and works perfect and smooth in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IExplorer.

      Used these sites to test:
      http://www.testufo.com/#test=framerates
      https://www.vsynctester.com

I tried enabling/disabling smooth scrolling at opera://flags, and enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in opera settings. Nothing worked.

I have AMD Sapphire HD 7850 and Catalyst Crimson Edition 16.9.2

Anyone with 75hz or 144hz monitors can test in these pages and tell me if all is correct or capped at 60hz like me? Also i would like some tips to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

You are right, it's happening with Opera 41.

I tried with Opera 38 and there are no issues there. I wonder if it's somehow related to the new text rendering engine.

BTW, no need to have a great monitor for this, just lower your resolution and you should be able to reach 70 or 75 Hz.

My previous reply for some reason was automatically flagged and required some manual approval. When this happens, the thread's latest reply is not refreshed so this stayed down in the list. I just wanted to bring this up in case someone else can shed some light on this.
