Roll back to Older version

Presently my opera is version 41.0.2353.46 , i want to roll back to 40.0.2308.81. After the new version am not able to copy the text from some pages. where in my other system the version 40 was present and is working fine. How can i do the roll back to the older version without loosing my favorites, passwords and speed dials.

Just installing the old version should work although downgrade is not recommended.

Transfer the contents 40.0.2308.81 folder to 41.0.2353.46, pre-clearing the folder 41.0.2353.46 .

I have tried installing 40 and it auto updates to 41
i cant run 41 as it gives CONSTANT Out of Memory errors. none of the other versions did this

Put your computer off from Internet , do the installation, rename the autoupdater executable file and then put the computer online again.
