Disappearing Opera

It seems more a Windows issue.

It's your own computer? Opera disappears from where?

its so weird, its like i never installed it, no icon, and this is a fairly new computer, asus gaming laptop

Have you verified that the Opera installation is actually missing, or is it just the Opera icon that is disappearing?

So you do a normal installation of Opera, you can see its install folder under Program Files or Program Files(x86), the icon in desktop and then, when you restart the computer, everything goes away? That's it?

If so it's really weird.

How do you install Opera?

Right now, Im on it, cuz I redownloaded it this morning, but, If I restart my computer it will be gone, If I go to my downloads and search it , its not there, nor is it in my add and remove

I click the download button, I wait for it to download, I click the exe, got through all the motions, then bingo, I have Opera, i can stay on it all night, but, If I restart my computer , when it boots back up it like I never installed it

If you have Opera running on the computer and you only shut off Opera but not the computer, does Opera's icon (and its installation files) disappear?

If you download and rn the Portable installer for Opera Beta, is your installation kept after a computer restart?

I have the exact same problem: I install Opera in the normal way from opera.com on to my PC. It works - until a restart. Then it has completely gone and I install it again... Groundhog Day.
