Sync between devices not working

I have been using Opera for a couple months now, and it has yet to sync new bookmarks between my desktop and laptop, and both are always signed in. The desktop is on almost 24/7. Chrome's sync is instantaneous but it has other problems, the reason I switched to Opera. But if I can not get the syncing to work, Opera is trash to me other than to run the few sites Chrome will not.
No one on their social media pages seem to communicate with the tech/dev department, so I don't think the ones that can fix the problem even know there is a problem.

I'm having the same issue with version 42.0.2393.94. Nothing is syncing across devices except for Javascript block list exceptions.
Everything shows up fine when I go to https://sync.opera.com/web/ though.

Hey guys, I'm using encryption with my synced data. I cannot get open tabs to sync. I use opera desktop for Windows, Opera for iOS and Android (not Mini). What's the issue? I've got a tick next to Open Tabs but not passwords which I don't want to sync.

Just to add that https://sync.opera.com/web/ is showing 0 tabs but I can't figure out why that is?

But it doesn't work between the desktop versions either. I have one at home and one at work and it won't sync tabs between them either!

What are those devices?
In my case, it is PCs - desktop and two laptops. Not even thinking of trying with my Android devices til the PCs are in sync. I am not using the encryption password option. All I want to sync are the bookmarks and extensions but it is not happening. Chrome was instantaneous... why is this not working for Opera?

Same here. Been using Opera for a couple of months because Google Chrome kept crashing. Has some advantages, but the absence of sync is a major pain. If Opera isn't interested in fixing it, I'm back to Google.
