Stacked tabs

As a user of Opera since 2001 as my main browser, and having tried Opera 15 and now 20 I mourn many of the features of versions up to 12.16 which still remains my main browser. I can live with lots of the changes as its a matter of getting used to something new, but I really miss stacked tabs (the second item I missed the most was mouse gestures, but that has been fixed).
Is there any plan to bring back stackable tabs? Opera was the first browser out there with tabs (version 3.5 or something) which was light years ahead of any of the others, stackable tabs in saved sessions were for me the ultimate in useful customization. If I could move my tab bar down to the bottom of my screen that would be nice too.
Is there a change log, wish list, or a list of options that are being worked on available?I have read many of the posts slamming the new Opera and I certainly miss many of the features, but I will be patient and see what the developers come up with.
