Blocking web pages

I keep getting pages randomly appearing when i click a link, the link opens and another page. This other page is generally "Speed Up Your Computer" or "A Virus Has Been Found On Your Computer". Is there any way of blocking them??? If they open again I will upload the URL to the forum.

You most like have your computer infected with some malware. Scan it with ADWCleaner and Malwarebytes MBAM, report results.
