account problem

  • I have big problem with password reset. In browser, I'm logged in (advanced configuration not available) but I can't log anywhere else. Reset password is not working (I am not receiving reset link - may it be that I have account not connected to any email address since it was created years ago?). Is there any way that you could help me in this problem? I can provide screen shots showing how it looks.

  • Settings->browser->Synchronization->You are logged in as (my login).
    I can log off, advanced configuration is grayed out

  • Is it the same account name as you use here? If it is, then go to your "Edit account" link in the top right corner and change the email address.

  • The problem is it is different. And when I try to reset password, I don't get reset password link on any email that use.
    I just wonder if some time before I could create an account without giving email address.

  • i had the same problem and ended up exporting all my bookmarks and starting fresh with a new account and then importing them back in. i wasn't storing passwords but assume you can export these too?
