I did manage to find a way to set a minimum font size, but I had to do that by tweaking a file in the profile. There really should be a way to do that easily.

+1, but a massive one. At this time it's the only feature that bars me from making Opera my default browser. And if I'm not mistaken Mercury allows anyone to implement its parser, so no technical reason no to do it.

There's a setting for it.
Not in Mac Opera.

HanzoX7 last edited byI tried the reading view in Microsoft Edge and was pleasantly surprised by it... There are some extensions for this but none of them work nicely, at least the few I tested. I tried to like Instapaper and while it's nice, I can't be bothered to go to a separate service to read stuff from the web. So, +1 on the built-in reader mode for Opera.

+1. Really surprised this isn't in Opera already actually given its pretty rich feature set elsewhere.

@treego As I said, I'd rather not have to rely on an extension. I use Mercury Reader only because Opera doesn't already have the feature built-in, like other browsers have.

@cynical13 Fair enough, I find "Reader View" works just as well as the built-in reader with Vivaldi and Firefox, though.

yes it is about time that opera adds reader view. Now that firefox quantum is around it is time to up the game.

@treego Palemoon is alright. Its engine goanna is good. but i prefer opera as it has builtin vpn plus native adblocker. Opera's dark theme is more aesthetic and pleasing to look at.
