Some gifv not working

I wonder why some specific gifv files don't work in Opera. Most of them work perfectly, but some just stay blank. It doesn't matter how much I refresh or use the private Window, I always get this screen:

It doesn't work in Vivaldi either (also uses Blink) or Internet Explorer 11, but it works fine in Chrome (!!) and Firefox. Has any of you experienced this? Does this particular gifv work for you?

I also wonder why sometimes clicking on the Download link retrieves the mp4 file and sometimes the huge and dithered gif file.
