What was the last version of Opera that supported flash?

  • What was the last version of Opera that supported Adobe flash? I am not happy with the new Opera based on Google Chrome. Too many sites use flash and I want them to work like they used to with Opera. RPMfind has a lot of older versions in .rpm format, so it would be easy to download and install. Using Mageia 5.X which is an rpm based distro.

  • You can get Flash for Chromium-based browsers, though I haven't seen it in the Mageia repos. Personally I downloaded and installed Google Chrome so that I could have Flash on my Mageia system. I never run it, but it comes with a Flash plugin Opera can use.

  • I wanted to watch a video I uploaded to youtube and it would not let me watch it in Opera. It wanted flash installed which is strange because I thought youtube did away with that. Mozilla worked fine whatever it was. It was a weird format from a screen recorder (kazam). Windows cannot play it.. but vlc can.
