It is indeed 36.0.2130.80 which at the moment is the latest version for XP and Vista.
No built-in Adblock or VPN, they were both added in later versions.
      🙂

Still in mourning for Opera 12.........

No, it uses Chromium 49, which is the last to support XP and Vista.
Security patches have been applied subsequently, but whether this still leaves it less secure than the current version is unknown.

"Unknown" is a reality XP users will have to increasingly live with going forward (unless they've tweaked their system to ID as an XP-POS version, and even then there remain some uncertainties since only kiosk/commercial-related issues are being patched in the POS version). Identified but unpatched security vulnerabilities continue to accumulate for the OS and in many no-longer-updated application programs for XP, so XP users would be wise to make sure they've got other layers of security and the practice of safe-hex solidly in place. I'd also advise several sound, verified drive-image backups on removable media, renewed frequently in a cyclic manner. It's the simplest way to get 'back home' to a safe point before when bad things happen to the OS.

Would you mind elaborating on that in my "Should I stay?" or "Backing up your Data" in the Lounge? I would love some advice which type of "removable media" is better to use - for frequent and extensive backups.

Totally off-topic but just click on 'Start a new discussion' when in the forum in which you'd like to post. It's pretty easy.

                              Opera doesn't come with Flash.

How long do you guys plan to support XP?

Firefox is dropping XP support this year. This would make Opera the only browser with XP support in the market.

If Opera could keep up XP support for as long as possible, that would be great.

Opera 36 is supported for XP and Vista with security updates only, for an unknown period, but it isn't actually unique in this.
Firefox users on XP and Vista have now been moved onto the Extended Support Release (ESR) channel, with Firefox 52 ESR.
This will also be supported at least until the second quarter of 2018, again only with security patches, no further facilities.
Firefox have said they will review the detected number of Firefox users still on XP and Vista later this year to make a final decision on when they will completely drop support.
Slimjet version 10 also supports XP and Vista, and as far as I know is still receiving security patches too.
It's only really Google Chrome which has completely abandoned XP and Vista users already.
                                      🙂

                                        ...

If Opera could keep up XP support for as long as possible, that would be great.

Depending on whose stats one uses, XP usage is currently (early 2017) around 1%-8% in the marketplace. Based on what I've observed in the past over many Windows versions, once the usage of a particular Windows OS drops to below 0.5%, apps/AV compatibility support for the OS almost entirely will evaporate. That seems to just be the nature of the marketplace in terms of what is economically worthwhile in terms of updating software to remain compatible with an old OS.

Typically, in the later stages of a Windows OS life-cycle, its usage rate continues to decline with a roughly 12-month half-life. On that basis, probably within the next 2-5 years, it will have become almost impossible to find any applications or anti-malware software specifically stated to support XP. So in general, look for browser support for XP, from whatever source, to fall away entirely over the next couple of years. Just sayin', for reference...

For the past few days, my Opera 36.0.2130.80 has stopped loading pages.
Though I thought I used **-sixty-something, what the heck? Did it autoupdate??? 😕

Off topic, but the last time I looked at Maxthon, it was XP compatible, but that was I suspect mainly because it was still using a very old version of Chromium!
                                            😃
Opera 36 is still working fine on XP here BTW.
