The last extension to use a read mode in Opera ceased to exist, cleanPages. I suggest that option as something that comes native in the browser, such as in Firefox. That's the only reason why I stopped using Opera, since I used a lot that function.

Try - Just Read extension for Chrome. Remember - almost any Chrome extension can be installed to Opera.

Extra extensions can create instability and slow down the browser. Having a native feature can work better within the program. Also, and please correct me if I'm wrong because I'd love to install one, but I don't see one available for Android devices.
