I Really Want To Like Opera.....

So far, everything's been great compared to other browsers and I want to make Opera my main browser, but.........
There's an annoying YouTube problem. I can see where the video is supposed to be when it's playing but then it gets overlayed like a second video. I've disabled all extensions and tested this in other browsers and Opera is the only one on which this happens. It happens with all YouTube videos, this is just a random one that I've used to illustrate the problem. Take a look at the screengrab:

Sounds like an extension problem. What extensions do you have installed? Try disabling them all and see if it goes away. Then re-enable them one by one till it breaks again.

The only extension I used was YouTube Center which I disabled last night yet the problem persisted. Having seen your post this morning, I removed the extension entirely and the problem has resolved itself. I'd be interested to know if anyone else was having the same playback issues as I had using this extension.

Same kind of problems for me - Youtube is not showing picture although playing audio.
This started recently probably since v36.
Tried to disable h/w acceleration, reinstall Opera, reinstall Flash - doesn't help.
Please fix it! -

My use of OPERA [for many years now], has not really needed any extensions, except a couple years back I began using a You Tube Downloader extension, so I could save my favorites YT's as MP4 files. I wouldn't guess if that info is useful to you but the one I use has the icon of a round, red disc...with a white arrow pointing down, on the red disc.
As for OPERA? Get used to it and you'll never look back !!!

I've to partially withdraw my comment about Youtube not working.
It really WAS not working for some time on my PC and nothing helped. However I've tried one more time to reinstall it and 'voilĂ !' - it works again.
