Why no Browser skins anymore?

I wish to have various changeable skins for the browser, like you had in the earlier versions (much like Firefox has). Why not create an add-on for this purpose.

Add-ons can't do what isn't supported. Right now, it can't be done. No idea on Opera's future plans though.
