The download feature is totally useless-why?
Hello!I use Opera latest under Win8 x64.
I used it so far without problem, but today happened something strange.
I can't download anything form web.
Example: www.opera.com --> download
and happens nothing.
I see: If your download does not start automatically, please click here.
I click "here". Happens nothing.
And this strange error affect all websites. I tried right click on download url, and choose: save content as: happens nothing.
I tried reinstall Opera: no result.
The settings are the default, I use only an Adblock addon. I tried disable the addon: no result.????

Why?Nobody answered your previous thread. Why? Because you didn't provide enough information.
Posting it again in another forum might mean that it is seen by more users, but most regular helpers here use the unanswered posts link or visit several forums.You can see that your previous thread has had 71 views.
So, instead of posting a new thread, reply to your own thread with more details.

I also have a similar issue. I have been trying for an hour now and I can't download anything from Opera. The download feature takes a long time on the timer and then just stops. Sometimes it does nothing at all, sometimes I manage to get a fraction of the file. I have tried using IE, FF and Opera Next.
Incudentally, why has my Opera browser stayed on version 15, when we are now on at least version 18? Why haven't I seen a seen a single update in a year?
