      Hello everyone,

I have reasons to believe that my computer has been recently hacked: my Windows password got changed and my keyboard default layout got changed to US. Fortunately i dual-boot linux and managed to reset my windows password from there. I figured "well it's Windows 10, updates sometimes screw up and i did install Windows in english, so it's probably nothing". Today my Opera browser on Windows wasn't logged in and the password wouldn't work, so now i believe my Opera account password got changed (99% sure, i'm usually methodic about my password choices and none of those was working). I also have reasons to believe my phone got attacked as well, so i entered panic mode. I disabled mobile data and wifi on my phone, got out of windows and entered Linux. Then, using firefox (because Opera could be compromised - i hate firefox so it's safe lol) I changed my e-mail password and then i reset Opera's password and logged back in, but now it's asking for a passphrase in order to synchronize, which is something i didn't even know existed.

I have been changing passwords everywhere i can remember and fortunately i have a habit of typing passwords by hand so i'm not too worried about my information getting stolen. However, i know that in a few cases i have stored a password or another, so i'd like to know in which websites i saved a password. I cannot access the synchronization data though, because i don't know the passphrase. Note that don't need to know the passwords, i only need to know which websites had my password stored in Opera so i make sure to change them. I know i could just clean my whole synch data, but if i do that the i'll never know where i had passwords stored, and since i'm no longer using Windows and i changed my Opera account password, i figure that cleaning everything is rather pointless.

I wanted to expose this problem directly to the Opera team/support but i can't seem to find a contact or an e-mail, so I'm posting this problem on the forums.

In short, all i want to know is this: Is there a way to find which websites had my password stored in Opera without knowing the passphrase?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide me and sorry for the long post.

Settings > Privacy and Security > Manage Saved Passwords.

        Try your Windows password.
