"Does it happens in other browsers?"
I will try with Chrome, but it means logging off and I may not get back to you if this fault persists.

It worked on Chrome and this time on Opera, but many fields are not reading ,they are filled with squared zeros.

No, it doesn't. Multiple logins are o'k here.

"It seems more of a browser issue than an issue with your account."
But if this is so, my browser IS Opera and I cannot see that both Opera and Chrome are wrong.
They are not. Firefox is exactly the same as i have already described.
The fault must be with Opera accounts. Is there no site manager who can investigate this issue and debug it ? -

Note - I am making these posts with squared zero`s in all the fields and am guessing what to do. And since the posts are appearing, I MUST be logged on, but it is not showing.

"Wittmann, what about logins on other sites with Opera?"
All work impeccably, not a hiccup in sight. My PC works like a dream. It is just the Opera Forum that is screwed up in this way.
In all the hundreds of Forums I have used, there has always been an Administrator or at least a Moderator to sort this kind of problem out. Where is this person on here ?

If this fault cannot be cured, I cannot operate with all the fields filled in with the kind of squares which normally show for Chinese symbols and will have to cancel my account. I can always place any Opera questions on other Forums.

So you can login in your Opera account with Chrone without problems?

I didn't get it. Does the login works with Firefox or not?

What do you mean? Could you post a sceeenshot?

And if it goes wrong, the with NO edit available and guessing squares, then I give up.

Fixed the markup for you.
It's like this: "![alternative text](the link to the image)

It seems an OS issue, probably some fonts not being loaded correctly. I use to have such issues eventually here on Windows and a restart usually solves the issue.

What's your Opera's UI language? And what is the language selected for the forums?
Btw, what is your OS?

Note that "squared zeros" (or most people just say "boxes") is the missing character symbol used by fonts when you try to print a character that doesn't exist in that font. So the question is, what font is it trying to use for those forms?
Log out, then go to the login page. Right-click in the field and choose Inspect element from the menu. In the panel that pops up, look in the right panel where it says "Styles". You may have to scroll down a bit, but for me it says
font-family: Arial;
Next is to check the font itself ...

@ sgunhouse
At last somebody has come up with a clue to the possible cause. IT IS the Forum settings a d nothing else that is causing this problem. Hell, the damned thing came up in Turkish, then when I logged on, went to squares.
Your suggestion is on track but I find it complicated to follow the data from the right click.
I did spot this -
"font-family
Helvetica, Arial, sans-seriWhat do you reckon ? I do not know how to change this font setting.

This account font business is a Forum Admin job to sort out, not mine. On any other Forum, the Moderator or Admin would have fixed it in seconds.

"And this is the language you have chosen to use on the forums?"
Of course I never. I chose ENGLISH and the Opera font catastrophe is nothing to do with me. It seems odd that the rest of the world is perfectly happy with my PC configuration and not a font hiccup in sight. This thread so far is going nowhere, it is about time somebody on this immaculate, Adminless and Moderatorless Forum got their finger out and fixedwhat is obviously a very minor site font problem for one of their members.
Please leocg, if you cannot be helpful and constructive, don
t post. My God, I don
t know why I am wasting my time. I guess it is that I do not like being beaten. -

Wittmann, really?
Something is not right, and you don't think it should keep that way.
Right, but try focussing on the Forum here: nobody ever raised such a problem as you has shown now; moderators there are, they moderate. People answered to your call, trying to figure out what was going on.
Myself personally never bumped into such fonts trouble here, nobody else I remember. In your case I see, something has messed up there; aren't we trying to figure out the pertinence of this issue? Leo said right - it is essential to understand what is the location of the problem: is it your OS/OS settings? is it the browser? is it the site? something else? a combination of some of the above?
Never having heard of such one, I reckon if a combination, the one must be extremely rare. Try to help us figure out how to help you, o'k? -

So the problem happens even with forum language set to English?
Well, as you seem to be the only one with this problem then the chances of the cause to be on your side is high.
Please leocg, if you cannot be helpful and constructive, dont post
I'm being helpful.
You posted on the wrong forum, using a topic title that does not refkect your real problem and even so me and others tried to understand the issue and try help you.
As long as the forum rules are respected, anyone can reply in any post like you it or not.
