Video Won't Play in O33 Or 12.17, But Does In IE

Clicking the Play Arrow, does absolutely nothing. I tried a private window where no extension are located, still nothing. In 12.17, the video screen is blank but a note at the top of the screen it say something like "NBC NEWS works est with Javascript turned on" and Java script IS turned on.

Any ideas??

Works fine here. Opera 33, Windows 10. What OS are you running?

Works for me in Opera developer 35, but not in 12.17.

Still in mourning for Opera 12.........

Dave, do you know if it played in O33??

What's interesting on the NBCNEWS site, is if you go to their Video page where all the links lead to a video, NONE of those play. None the videos on the page below will play::

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/video

However if you click on a link that leads to a news story (text plus video), the video DOES play in that context. Below is a page that simply came from a news story listed on the main page::

Here's another instance where an ESPN video will not play on the ESPN page::
