12.17: text size does not inherit from Windows

I always set Windows text size to Medium for better readability. 32/33 picked up that preference, but 12.17 does not. Did I miss a setting? I can use Zoom at 120%, but that setting disappears with a new window.

What about the setting of default zoom scale?

The real Opera had an extraordinarily customizability.
Use custom (edited) keyboard shortcut or/and mouse gestures (or even toolbar button) to create the new window (or tab) with a preferable zoom scale. For an example:

New page & Zoom to, 130 - open new tab with 130%
Open link in new page & Zoom to, 150 - open link in new page with 150% (you need to edit Menu setup file)

Thanks for the response, stng. I should have mentioned that this is a new installation of 12.17 with a new user (me). I will investigate the zoom default, as that sounds like a solution. I like how you described 12.17 as the "real Opera."
