Youtube causing screen tearing

Tested this out, and the issue only occurs when using Youtube in Opera. Doesn't occur in Firefox, or with videos played in VLC player. When a video is playing in Opera, I get noticeable screen tearing when scrolling in other windows.

Which Opera?
And what's your system exactly?

Opera > Settings > 'Use hardware acceleration when available' Is that checked or unchecked?

Hardware acceleration is checked. Opera version is 33, OS is Windows 7 with a GTX 770 GPU. Vsync is checked in the Nvidia control panel, but this tearing still occurs.
