How do you copy a page address, so you can then paste it into an email.

When I click on the address bar, it turns blue, but then how do I then copy that??

      Thanks

In the same way you copy anything in Android. Long-press to show the text selection menu with the cut, copy, etc, options.

Yes, that works if you do it within the web page contents itself, but not in the address bar.

I want to copy the "http//www.etc" that resides in the address text bar, and paste it elsewhere.

Ok, I am corrected, you are right, tapping on the text in the address bar and then holding that does show the copy function.

            I appreciate the hint

In the latest Opera, released today, it's possible to just long tap the address bar and we will show the text selection menu right away.
