Cannot download any *.exe files

Hello...
I cannot download any *.exe files, while other things work well: music, archives, videos...
I am getting the error at the end of download: Antivirus has detected a virus. The problem is I have no antivirus
Please help me!

Are you sure you have no anti-virus?
IIRC Windows Defender is included and enabled by default on later versions of Windows.

Well first, if it doesn't relate to Opera, it goes to the Lounge.
Otherwise you should state your Opera version and system you're on. -

Do you also get the anti-virus message if you try to download using another browser, or only with Opera?
