Opera 12.16 and Xfce: font sizes

It looks like Opera does not use the font sizes I set with Xfce. Especially I want to make the fonts of the menu bar and the bookmarkj side bar bigger. But how?

Tried in Opera? Preferences > Advanced > Fonts, try Browser Panels and Browser Menus as the obvious items.
