      Hi!
      Using: 30.0.1835.88 Stable
      openSUSE 13.2 (Harlequin) (x86_64; KDE)

      Opera was packed from DEB to RPM with Alien. Everything seems to work fine. Its quick and have no problem with Flash.

      The problem is that Opera-windows(Tab) crash randomly and i have to click Reload page.
      Its not a serious problem, but its a problem.

      Anyone?

        Do you have ffmpeg installed? If, can you tell us which version? (ffmpeg -version | grep "ffmpeg version")

          How do i check? I search in Yast and get only one hit; libavutil52 (Utilities library from ffmpeg).

          :~> ffmpeg -version | grep "ffmpeg version"

          ffmpeg: command not found

            Stupid me!
            I was checking on the wrong computer.

            Now im at the right computer and if i check ffmpeg;
            :~> ffmpeg -version | grep "ffmpeg version"

            ffmpeg version 2.5.1 Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the FFmpeg developers

            Maybe its been updated and fixed now because i run system update now.
            Haven't seen crash today. Time will show!

                There's a known crash with ffmpeg 2.5. Can you try updating to ffmpeg 2.6?

                  I'm i little confused because if i run cmd ffmpeg -version, then i get 2.5, but in Yast it says 2.7.1-1.5

                  BTW! I got this problem after upgrading from Opera 29 to 30(latest stable).

                    @ronnys: 2.7.1-1.5

                    It's very likely you have to compile it yourself in order to get version >= 1.6. See this guide: http://ruario.ghost.io/2014/12/19/adding-h-264-video-support-to-opera-for-linux/

                      Why do i have ffmpeg in the first place? I have another computer, also with OpenSUSE and Opera 30 but without ffmpeg, and don't have any problem.
                      I uninstalled ffmpeg and now all problems is gone 🙂

                        Without ffmpeg, you can't play H.264 videos on the web. Now when you have uninstalled ffmpeg, go to this page: https://www.youtube.com/html5. You should see that the "H.264" box isn't ticked.
